  1. According to this calculator my maintenance cals is 1662. If I were to go for a 500 cal deficit that would be 1162 which I'm sure you would disapprove of. What should those of us with a low tree do please?

  2. Hi Michelle I have loved watching your videos here lately I just discovered your channel and I was wanting to know that when you were counting your fats you said 56 is that for the whole day

  3. Oh no… based on the calculator and for me to lose weight as a 4ft 6 girl.. I should be eating about 800 calories per day 😅 looks like I have to move around all day and keep my steps up plus exercise. I might just eat 1000 calories and increase my activities throughout the day. Thank you ❤

  4. Love your helpful videos, Michell! I was looking at the 8-week guides on your website and had a few questions. Is it possible to get instead access if I want to get started right away (vs Monday)? And what do you consider as "beginner" vs. intermediate level? Also, for the 4-day split, is it 1 day upper, 1 day lower body and repeat?

  5. Hi..thankyou …on average I burn about 2,000 cal a day….but I weigh 145pds and want to burn body fat and afterwards build muscle…so my question is probably would have to go with 1,300 cal a day to lose 1 pd a week?

  6. Hi michelle, thank you for this info. My question is: if i need to lose over 100 lbs , to lose where do i start with calories and protein . I am getting @ 1900 calories on calculator…this seems way too low, setting me up to starve and fail. Any advice pls?

  7. Do you calculate macros and calories for people because I am 59 years old and I was on Weight Watchers for many years and I’ve lost 20 pounds but I’ve hit a plateau for the last few years and can’t get below 20 pounds

  8. Very informative and helpful video. Thank you. My question is. If trying to lose weight, is your calorie intake more important than your macros?
There are times I have calories left to eat, but then I i will go over my fats or carbs. What do I do then?

  9. Thank you very much Michelle I think starting with a 300-500 deficit is a bit too aggressive but of course that depends as YOU said on each individuals starting point. Tbh I'm just maintaining my current caloric intake and working on progressive overload to increase muscle strength and achieve hypertrophy.

  10. Hi Michelle….of course doing the other things…but why can't it sink in to me that a set of dumbs bells will help the fat melt off my body….i know im over thinking it and probably just need to try it

  11. I'm short and those calculators are horrendous for a short girl. Eating at 1200 calories. Guess what? Guarantee you'll loose your hair. You'll lose weight yes BUT you will also lose muscle, hair and be hungry constantly, you will also ruine your metabolism and maybe get vitamin deficient. If i lose 500 calories of my maintenance, ill be eating 1000 calories. That's a no.

SO, for short girls. Vegetables, complex carbs, fruits, find your sweet spot where you are on a calorie deficit BUT you have energy to lift weights and work out. 100g of protein a day, the rest you need to manage also. Cooking oils: stop using them. Use sprays. Move: doesn't matter what, just move. No you dont have to sweat and give 100 percent every single time you workout. Somedays just walk 5k steps. BUT the key, keep it constant, the body WILL get use too it. Use a scale to weigh your food. Learn portion sizes.

  12. Ouf! For now, I'm just gonna calculate calories and that's it 🤣 then the rest is too much for me, for now. Oh! And intermittent fasting. Worked for me the last time. Thanks again Michelle, always so informative ❤
